My All Time Favorite
Oh lord gawdayam how many times I've watched this. It's nice to have it up so I can watch it remotely now, where ever I am I can come back and just revel in it:

From New York to Los Angeles

Listening to Steve Reich, "America Before The War," reminds me that Asa and I have a habit of sending these little notes to each other over SMS. "From Chicago to New York," "different trains every time," "in ninteen-thirty-nine ... "ninteen forty!" ninteen forty! nineteen forty!"
Asa lives in Paris now but a small SMS of these random words is a pretty sweet thing, in the din of this city to see those words in my phone. We used to listen to Steve Reich in the early days of Digital Form, circa 1998, we'd be sitting in the office bleary-eyed at 2:30am coding some long string of HTML and blasting Steve Reich ...
