Listening to Steve Reich, "America Before The War," reminds me that Asa and I have a habit of sending these little notes to each other over SMS. "From Chicago to New York," "different trains every time," "in ninteen-thirty-nine ... "ninteen forty!" ninteen forty! nineteen forty!"
Asa lives in Paris now but a small SMS of these random words is a pretty sweet thing, in the din of this city to see those words in my phone.
